OIL SKIMMER FOR MILL HOUSE / ETP AND REFINING UNIT FOR RECOVERED LUBE OIL The sugar mills when periodically washed, discharge very high quantity of lube oils used in the Mill section along with the water in the drain leading to ETP. The level is much beyond the 10 ppm set by the PCB authorities. Also the oil accumulated on the water surface mixes with the flying bagasse around the factory and chokes the drains creating dirt and mess.
Our custom-made exclusively designed oil skimmers arrest the oil and the collected barrels can be reused in open lubricating applications like chain sprocket, weather proofing in the store house etc. Addition of a Re-Refining unit along with the skimmer will improve the quality further and the viscosity index of the oil can be improved for machining applications, resulting in enormous savings in the operating cost. This State of the Art system comprise 3 stages of separation which enables complete removal of water, dirt and grit which contaminates the used lube oil reducing its lube characterstics and Viscosity Index (V.I) improvement section. The equipment is so designed that it enlarges the surface area of oil exposed under vacuum system and extends the flowing distance of the oil giving a higher residence time. The moisture and gas are removed very effectively by this feature. The grit and dirt particles are removed thru' a physical process while V.I. is improved as a result of furhter treatment to the recovered oil bringing the qulaity of the re-refined and reclaimed oil to almost its original characterstics.
The treatment section has an option of manual or automatic control depending on the clients' preference. | ||
