Maximum instantaneous surface area contact in the venturi throat and cyclonic separation in the bottom of the scrubbing vessel enables almost total transfer of fly ash particles from the flue gases to the water medium resulting in 100 – 150 ppm level of Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) which is well within the prescribed limit of Central and State Pollution control Boards. The recovered Fly ash can be sold for land filling, fertilizer composting or making Bricks 

Sugar is mostly generated from various dropping  points as a

result of attrition. These locations are sugar hoppers, graders, 

elevators, bins and conveyor belts. An effectively sealed

closed piping and duct network lifts the dust as it is generated

and transfers thru’ an Industrial  Blower’s draft action into the

unit comprising venturi and a scrubber vessel.  Water is used

as a scrubbing medium.

  Sugar Dust being highly soluble in water instantly transfers

      from the air phase to the water phase and forms a

      homogenous solution which is collected from the scrubber 

      bottom in a seal tank.. Once the solution acquires a bricks

      level of 10 – 15, the solution is transferred to the sugar melter

      in the recovery system. 

  On an average, 100 – 150 Kgs of sugar is recovered per 1000 bags of sugar produced in the mill.  The Payout ranges between one season to two crushing seasons depending on the no. of points covered in the network. Apart from increasing the revenues, sugar house becomes very clean and workers face no breathing and dust inhaling  problem, thereby safe working environment.

The sugar mills when periodically washed, discharge very

high quantity of lube oils used in the Mill section along with

the water in the drain leading to ETP. The level is much

beyond the ppm by the PCB authorities. Also this oil

accumulated on the water surface mixes with the flying

bagasse around the factory and chokes the drains creating

dirt and mess.

  Our custom-made exclusively designed oil skimmers arrest

      the oil and the collected barrels can be reused in open lube

     applications like chain sprocket, storing of material and even

     as a start up fuel for boilers.  Addition of a Refining unit along

     with the skimmer will improve the quality further and the

     viscosity index of the oil can be improved for machining

     applications.
